| If this sounds like your store | Start here |
|---|---|
| We cannot trust our on-hand quantities or bin locations, and parts-to-GL never ties out. | Physical Inventory |
| We counted last year, but obsolescence keeps creeping back and nobody is watching it monthly. | Inventory Analysis |
| We are buying, selling, or closing a store and need defensible asset values. | Buy / Sell Acquisition |
| Our numbers are fine, but the department runs differently depending on who is working. | Training |
| Honestly, all of the above. | Talk to us and we will sequence it |
These are four separate engagements, but they are not four unrelated ones. The sequence that produces the most durable result is usually the same.
A physical inventory comes first, because everything downstream depends on records you can trust. You cannot analyze, value, or manage an inventory you have not accurately counted. Ongoing inventory analysis then protects that accuracy month over month, catching liability while parts are still returnable rather than after the window closes.
Training addresses the reason records drift in the first place. Corrected numbers plus unchanged habits produces the same problem again in eighteen months. And when a transaction appears on the horizon, buy/sell asset appraisal work is dramatically easier, and materially more favorable, for a dealership whose inventory is already clean and documented.
